AYC would like to thank the West Gate Neighbourhood Fund (WGNF) for the provision of support towards equipment for the club facilities and sailing training.

As AYC continues to grow in membership, training participants, regatta hosting and community use, there is a need to update the tables and furniture where there they are able to be stored more compactly and arranged in a more ergonomic manner. The supply of approximately one dozen tables from the WGNF's "Connecting Neighbourhood grant is a major boost towards addressing this need for furniture. This will help AYC provide improved facilities for the activities it provides or facilitates.

As community demand for AYC's sailing training program increases, there became a need to update the lifejackets in use. The WGNF "Participant Equipment Grant" has enabled AYC to update the jackets, and begin to retire some of our well used jackets. 

AYC's committee thanks the WGNF for its ongoing support to AYC. This will enable an uplift for AYC's ability to positively contribute to the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
