All Sail Training events are currently subject to government restrictions and/or to the possibility of Bush Fire smoke.
Unless otherwise specified, if an individual cancels their participation in a Course or Event, or if a Course or Event is cancelled by the AYC, the Refund Policy of AYC is set out below.
1. Transfer to another Course or Event
In every circumstance where a refund is requested, the first option is to transfer the participant to another applicable Course or Event.
2. Periods of notice in the case of withdrawal from a Course or Event
Other than in the circumstances covered by Sections 3, 4, 5, and 6, where transfer to another Course or Event is not possible or appropriate and a refund is sought, the following apply:
3. Withdrawal because of illness, injury or death
If a participant is unable to participate in a Course or Event because of illness, injury or death the fee will be fully refunded (less any transaction fee applied by the merchant).
4. Course or Event cancellation
If a Course or Event is cancelled by the Organiser the fee will be fully refunded.
5. Force Majeure
If a Course or Event is cancelled midway due a reason outside the control of the Organiser or if a Course participant withdraws due to medical reasons midway through a course, a refund may be provided at the discretion of the Course or Event organiser, less the cost of supplied materials.
6. Other Issues or Requests
Any issue or request falling outside of this Refund Policy will be referred to AYC Committee for a decision.
